Yandangshan UNESCO Global Geopark Museum Yandangshan UNESCO Global Geopark MuseumYandangshan UNESCO Global Geopark Museum covers an area of 20mu, with a construction area of 3,620m2. It is divided into eight exhibition halls and an exhibition gallery, namely the Prelude Hall, the Video Hall, the Geological Relics Hall, the Volcanic Demonstration Hall, the Cultural Exhibition Hall, the Global Volcano Exhibition Hall, the Ecological Exhibition Hall, the Construction and Development of Geopark Hall and the Geological Exhibition Gallery. The museum fully displays the geological and landscape features of Yandangshan, characteristics of geological relics, volcanic eruptions and formation process of caldera, characteristics of global volcanoes, diversity of ecological cultures and the development of geopark. Since its establishment, the museum has received many national leaders, geological experts, construction managers of other geopark and a large number of ordinary tourists, and has also become a Youth Scientific Expedition and Adventure Base, a Land and Resources Science Popularization Base, and a National Science Popularization Base.
