Yandangshan UNESCO Global Geopark,acing Yueqing Bay in the east, is 70 km away from Wenzhou City and 300 km from Hangzhou City. The geographical coordinates are: 120°41’40’’-121°27’40’’ E and 28°12’30’’-28°30’00’’ N.

The geopark is located at economically developed coastal areas of Southeast China, bordering Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle in the north and lining up with Fuzhou, Xiamen and Shantou in the south. In this region, the transportation is extremely convenient. It has a 3 hours transportation circle including cities like Shanghai and Nanjing as well as direct transport links such as the Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou Expressway, high-speed rail and national road 104. Besides, the Hangzhou-Ningbo-Wenzhou Expressway, high-speed rail, railway as well as Wenzhou Airport and port via local areas have constituted a convenient sea, land and air transportation network connecting to all parts of the country and the world.
